The U3A is open, without condition, to all persons who have either ceased full time employment and/or completed their mainline parenting duties and is devoted to self-help shared learning. The sole criterion of what is done and how it is to be achieved is the members’ wishes, with the accent on learning for its own sake - and with the emphasis on sheer enjoyment as a prime motive.
Below you will see links that will take you to a Gift Aid Declaration and from this to the Application Form. As a registered charity we are entitled to treat your subscription as a donation and seek to reclaim from the Inland Revenue tax paid at the rate of 22% of each £1.
If you are a tax payer, please take time to read the notes that form part of the Gift Aid Declaration before printing off and completing both documents which , together with your cheque, should be sent to the Treasurer at the address on the application form.
Please remember that completion of a Gift aid form does not incur additional cost for you but will help us to maximise income to the ultimate benefit of all members.
